Pedestrian Hit In Kingsville

A man is in critical condition in hospital after getting hit by a truck crossing the road in Kingsville on Thursday night.

OPP say just before 6pm on Thursday a 46-year-old man walking across Road 2 at Division Rd. was hit by a white pick-up truck heading south on Division Rd. The truck had made a left turn, east onto Road 2.

Police report the truck didn't stay at the scene of the crash, instead continued driving east.

Road 2 between Division Rd. and Jasperson Rd. in Kingsville is closed as police investigate.

Anyone with information as to the whereabouts of the white pick-up truck is asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122. Officers don't have a make or model of the truck at this time, but expect there to be front end damage to the truck.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
