Spits Beat Steelheads 7-4

The Windsor Spitfires earned their third win in a row with a 7-4 victory over the Mississauga Steelheads on Friday.

It was a back and forth game with Mississauga constantly tying things up each time Windsor gained the lead. However, after the Steelheads scored to make the game 4-4 in the third, Windsor was able to gain three points in the final ten minutes for the win.

Logan Brown and Cristiano DiGiacinto were the top scorers for Windsor with two goals each. Aaron Luchuk, Markus Soberg and Mikhail Sergachev each scored one.

The Spitfires will take on the Sault Ste. Marie Greyhounds on Sunday starting at 2:05pm.
