UPDATE: Firearms Investigation On Janette

Windsor police have arrested one person after a lengthy firearms investigation on Janette. Ave.

It all started at around 8:45pm Monday at a multiplex in the 600-block of Janette Ave. A 57-year-old female was in the suspect's apartment when the two got into an argument.

The woman tells police he then pulled out a gun and pointed it at her. Police say she left and called police.

Patrol officers and the Emergency Services Unit swarmed the area.

The road was closed until 6:15am Tuesday, but has since reopened.

Police say the 48-year-old man was taken into custody without incident.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
