A 24-year-old Windsor man is facing assault with a weapon and breaking and entering charges after a long foot chase led to his arrest.

Police say just before 11am Wednesday, two men were spotted chasing another man through the 400-block of Wyandotte St. E.

It turns out the man being chased was seen breaking into an apartment and fled on foot.

Officers say at one point during the civilian chase, the suspect allegedly pulled a knife on the two men, but was disarmed.
