Walkerville Holiday Walk This Weekend

Stores and restaurants in the Walkerville BIA are hoping for a boost in business during this weekend's Walkerville Holiday Walk.

All participating businesses have promotions and activities for the special event on Friday evening and Saturday afternoon.

BIA Coordinator Veronica Samek says they have a new solution to help with parking this year.

"In partnership with the Walter D Kelly Life Celebration Centre we're actually providing parking for visitors by donation," she says.

To kick off the weekend the tree lighting in Jubilee Park is at 7:30pm tonight.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
