Starting Monday the intersection of Wyandotte St. E and Drouillard Rd. will be closed until just before Christmas.
The city is shutting down the intersection in both directions to all traffic.
Crews will be out streetscaping the area.
Detours are set to be in place and the intersection isn't scheduled to reopen until December 23.
People in southern Huron and Lambton counties are being told to limit their time outside.
