Man Released After Disturbance

No charges have been laid after a disturbance in downtown Windsor last night.

The Windsor Police Emergency Services Unit was called to the area of Park St. W and Pelissier St. after witnesses reported hearing the sound of glass breaking and popping sounds similar to gun shots.

Officers saw a man lean out of a broken window, yelling obscenities and holding a silver object.

The man was arrested without incident but the investigation revealed no weapon and no threat to public safety. He was subsequently released.
