Explosion Victim Remains In Hospital

One person remains in hospital following a backyard explosion over the weekend in Windsor.

The investigation is complete and officials say propane sparked the explosion at 3390 Hemlock Rd. Saturday at around 5:30pm.

Further testing is needed to determine the exact cause, but damage is pegged at $60,000.

Initially two people were taken to hospital. One person still remains in hospital with burns to their hands.

The Ontario Fire Marshal's Office and the Technical Standards and Safety Authority were also involved in the investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
