Tire Allegedly Shot Flat In Windsor

Windsor police are looking to the public for help after it appears a vehicle had its tire shot flat while the driver was behind the wheel this afternoon.

Police report around 1:15pm a vehicle was headed southbound in the 2400-block of George Ave. Officers say the driver heard a loud "pop" before realizing his tire had gone flat.

It was at a service station police say it was determined the damage to the tire was deemed to be consistent with that of a bullet.

Police are asking anyone with information to the Windsor Police Service at 519-255-6700 x4830 or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 519-258-8477.
