Charges Laid In Bridge Crash

A 17-year-old Amherstburg girl is charged with careless driving after Sunday's crash on the River Canard Bridge.

Amherstburg police determined speed was a factor when the Pontiac van crashed into the bridge and was wedged between the railing and the bridge column.

No one was seriously injured in the crash.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
