Possible Changes for Corn Fest

The Town of Tecumseh is considering a change in direction for the Tecumseh Corn Festival.

Council asked administration to examine how the event could move from a town run event to a community run event.

Director of Parks and Recreation Paul Anthony says administration will be tasked with the responsibility to try to find out if there are ways the festival can be transferred back over to the community.

He says a lot of community consultation will happen before any changes are made.

The 2016 Tecumseh Corn Festival will continue status quo- the budget has already been approved by council.
