UPDATE: Police Investigating Armed Robbery

Windsor police are looking for a pair of suspects after an armed robbery earlier this morning at the Mac's convenience store at the corner of Wyandotte St. E and Lauzon Rd. in the city.

Police report being called to the scene at about 2:43am.

According to police, two male suspects entered the convenience store — one carrying a long gun and the other carrying a hand gun.

Police describe one suspect as 5'5" in height, seen wearing a beige jacket, dark pants and black touque. The other suspect is described as 5'6" in height, seen wearing a blue or black jacket with a black hood and dark pants. Both suspects are described as white men.

Officers say the suspects left the store northeast bound towards the FreshCo grocery store with a small amount of cash and cigarettes.

No injuries are reported.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
