Woman Badly Hurt In Crash

A 60-year-old woman is in hospital with two fractured legs and broken ribs after a crash involving four vehicles at Lauzon Parkway and County Rd. 42 this afternoon.

Others involved in the crash escaped with minor injuries. No one is expected to die from injuries sustained in the crash.

No charges have been laid yet, but police continue to investigate.

Officers responded to the scene of the crash at about 1pm on Monday. Traffic was slowed as police took over traffic control while the investigation got underway. The intersection was re-opened around 7:40pm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
