Charges Not Likely In Crash

Windsor police don't anticipate laying charges after a crash on Central Ave. overpass at the EC Row this morning.

It happened just after 7am in the northbound lanes of Central Ave. where traffic in two lanes can make a left-hand turn onto the ramp. A car and a transport truck were both correctly making the turn when the transport truck collided with the car.

The car ended up under the trailer of the truck.

Miraculously, the driver of the car suffered only minor injuries that did not require medical treatment at the hospital. Police say the man was walking around after the accident.

The accident slowed traffic significantly at that intersection for about two hours.
