City Ratifies Deal With Transit Workers

City Council ratified the contract behind closed doors Monday. The members of Amalgamated Transit Union Local 616 have already approved it.

Mayor Drew Dilkens couldn't provide numbers but says workers will take home a little more in their pay cheques.

The contract also opens the door to outsourcing some services in transit garages and installing cameras on city buses.
