Woman Follows Own Stolen Vehicle

Windsor police have two people in custody after a stolen vehicle was recovered this morning.

Around 11:30am this morning police received a call from a female complainant in the area of Aylmer Ave. and Assumption St. who informed police she was following the vehicle she reported stolen on Monday.

Six police cars surrounded the vehicle on Wyandotte St. E near Marentette Ave.

Two suspects were arrested at the scene. A 19-year-old Windsor man is charged with theft and possession of stolen property and a 20-year-old man is charged with possession of stolen property.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
