Charges In Serious County Rd. 42 Crash

A 24-year-old Harrow man is being charged with drunk driving following a serious four-vehicle crash in front of the Windsor International Airport.

Police say a black F-150 was speeding along County Rd. 42 when it forced another vehicle onto the gravel shoulder. That vehicle veered into the eastbound lanes and crashed into another car head-on.

The wreck happened January 23 at around 4:30pm.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene to extricate multiple people who were trapped inside their vehicles.

Overall, police say only one person sustained serious, but non-life threatening injuries. The others suffered only minor injuries.

The 24-year-old is charged with dangerous driving, impaired driving causing bodily harm and having over 80 mg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood causing bodily harm.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
