World Gym Almost There

The owner of two new World Gym facilities in Windsor and LaSalle isn't ready to set opening dates, but says both are coming along nicely.

Slated to open late last year, Wes Hodgson says equipment is now expected to arrive at the LaSalle gym sometime later this week, while drywall and paint is going up at the Lauzon Rd. location. That facility could be ready by the end of the month.

"One of them is really close, so we'll get that one out of the way, then the next will happen as quick as it can," he explains. "We're pushing as hard as we can, and making it happen as fast as we can."

Hodgson says permit delays and approvals from municipal governments have been holding up the projects.

The owner says issues with refunds, for those who wanted them, has been resolved.
