Arsonists Wanted After Car Torched

LaSalle police are acting on some "promising leads" to help solve an arson where a minivan was torched in someone's driveway.

Police are asking for the public's help, hoping to jog the memory of anyone who may know something about the incident on November 9.

It happened at 7275 Disputed Rd. where police say two men set a van on fire, which eventually spread to the house causing $30,000 in damage.

Everyone inside the home escape uninjured. Police aren't saying if this is a targeted or random attack.

Witnesses tell police a compact sedan with a loud muffler was seen in the area with two men wearing coveralls on the night of the fire.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
