One Person Injured In Amherstburg Crash

One person has been taken to hospital following a collision in Amherstburg.

The Amherstburg Fire Department says on Saturday around 5pm, emergency crews responded to Front Rd. N between Texas Rd. and Brunner Ave.

One person became trapped when the vehicle rolled onto its side and had to be extracted by firefighters.

It is unknown how many people were in the vehicle at the time of the crash, but the person who was extracted has been taken to hospital with undisclosed injuries.

Front Rd. N was closed between Brunner Ave. and Texas Rd. for several hours but has since been reopened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
