Injuries After Late Morning Crash

A motorist had to be extracted from a car following another crash in the Amherstburg area.

Fire officials say the single-vehicle collision happened just before 11am Sunday on Annie Ave. in McGregor.

The victim suffered non-life threatening injuries, and was taken to hospital after being removed from the vehicle.

Annie Ave. remains closed as Amherstburg crews complete their investigation.

Firefighters had to extract another victim of a crash on Saturday, who was also taken to hospital.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
