UPDATE: Woman's Death Deemed Not Suspicious

Windsor police are no longer treating a woman's death in the downtown area as suspicious.

On Thursday around 3pm, five police cars surround a house at 402 Aylmer Ave. after the body was discovered at the residence.

An autopsy was performed Friday where it was determined the investigation is no longer suspicious in nature.

Police are still waiting on toxicology results.

Officers were seen canvassing neighbours for information.

The name or age of the female have not been released.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
