Chanoso's Closing In Downtown Windsor

After 20 years in business, Chanosos's Restaurant in downtown Windsor is closing for good.

Owners say they were discussing the closure before health officials shut down the eatery in September due to a cockroach infestation.

"This is the 20th year of operation in downtown Windsor and we wanted to end it off on that note," Chanosos's ownership says in an email to BlackburnNews.com.

They say to keep a close eye on 255 Ouellette Ave. for all of the "new and exciting concepts" to come.

Chanoso's will serve its last stir fry March 26.
