UPDATE: Driver Injured In Rollover Crash

One person had to be taken to hospital following a single-vehicle rollover crash in Amherstburg.

The Amherstburg Police Service says on Friday around 4pm, the vehicle was travelling on Concession 5 N. between N. Side Rd. and Middle Side Rd. when the driver swerved to miss an animal that had run on to the road. The driver lost control of the vehicle before it rolled and came to a rest on its side.

The driver had to be extricated from the vehicle and was taken to hospital with minor injuries.

It is unknown if any charges will be laid as a result of the crash.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
