Three Sent To Hospital After Crash

Three people had to be taken to hospital following a two-vehicle crash in Amherstburg.

The Amherstburg Police Service says the vehicles collided on Front Rd. N near N Side Rd. around 2:45pm on Saturday.

Firefighters had to extricate one person from a vehicle after they became trapped.

Three occupants were taken to hospital to be treated for minor non-life threatening injuries.

Police say an investigation is ongoing and it is unknown if any charges will be laid at this time.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
