Attempted Murder Case Dismissed

Attempted murder charges in connection with a stabbing in June of 2015 have been dropped.

The case against Windsor man Preston Scott has been dismissed due to lack of evidence.

Windsor police charged Scott after a man was found with multiple stab wounds on the corner of Wyandotte St. E and Dougall Ave. on Sunday June 14, 2015.

At the time police said the victim and the accused were known to each other but the victim was being uncooperative.

New military crosswalk in Sarnia to be unveiled

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
