UPDATE: University Ave. Reopened After Rollover Crash

Police are investigating after a rollover crash on University Ave. W in Windsor.

The Windsor Police Service says on Friday around 8pm, two vehicles collided at the intersection of University Ave. W at Campbell Ave., resulting in one of the vehicle flipping onto its roof and coming to a rest against a building.

Emergency crews had to extricate a female driver from the flipped vehicle before she was taken to hospital. Police say her injuries are minor.

The male driver of the other vehicle only suffered minor injuries as well.

University Ave. W was closed between Campbell Ave. and McEwan Ave. while emergency crews were at the scene. It was reopened around 9pm.

Police say the crash remains under investigation.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
