Windsor Police Investigate Suspicious Fire

Windsor police are now treating a fire on Hickory Rd. in Ford City as suspicious.

The fire broke out at 1333 Hickory RD. around 1:30pm Wednesday and quickly spread next door, causing around $440,000 in damages on both properties.

Windsor police Constable Andrew Drouillard says it appears the fire started toward the back of the residence.

"Information that we have at this time is that there may have been a person on the back porch just prior to the fire occurring," says Drouillard.

Police are appealing to the public for information on any suspicious activity in the area around the time of the fire.

The blaze has not been deemed an arson at this point as the cause of the fire is still undetermined.
