Police Report More Church Break and Enters

Windsor police continue to investigate a rash of church break-ins over the last month in central Windsor.

Two churches were broken into over Easter weekend including the New Song Church on Drouillard Rd.

In this incident the suspect stole two computers and a back-up hard drive.

There have been almost a dozen churches in the central area that have been target in March.

Windsor police are asking anyone with information to contact them or Crime Stoppers. They are advising churches to remove money and valuables from the premises when possible.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
