Lotto Winner Has Business Plan

A Leamington woman is claiming more than $103,000 after winning in the March 16 Lotto 6/49 draw.

Patricia Beemer says, "I always joke with the store owner that I'd treat him to a steak dinner if I won so now I guess dinner is on me!"

"It's always been my goal to open up a beautiful bed and breakfast," she adds. "The plan is already in motion. I've purchased a turn-of-the-century home near the riverfront.”

Beemer's winning ticket was purchased at Leamington Smoke Shop and More on Erie St. in Leamington.
