Contract Ratified At Windsor Public Library

The Windsor Public Library board has ratified its new contract with unionized workers represented by CUPE Local 2067.1.

The four-year deal gives librarians, clerks, cataloguers, and operations staff a 1.25% wage increase each year until December 31, 2019.

"It was a challenging set of negotiations," says Board Chair Peter Frise. "We are mindful of a responsibility to the taxpayer as well as a responsibility to bargain a fair and equitable contract."

Members ratified it last week.
