Health Unit Moves Leamington Office

The Windsor-Essex County Health Unit's Leamington office is settling into its new home at Community Hub 33.

Although some services will be available this week, the new office won't be fully operational until April 18. It will service including health inspection services, a breastfeeding clinic, a sexual health clinic, and immunizations.

The old office at 215 Talbot St. E is closed.

The building, at 33 Princess St., is also home to the Windsor-Essex Children's Aid Society and the City of Windsor's Ontario Works Office in Leamington.

The three partners hope the shared space will provide greater efficiency in one location for Leamington residents. A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for next month.
