Several homes on Dougall Ave. had to be evacuated after a car hit a house causing a gas leak.
Union Gas and Windsor Fire were on the scene around 3pm on Wednesday and had the 1200-block of Dougall Ave. blocked to traffic.
No one was injured in the crash.
Residents were allowed back into their homes and the road was reopened after two hours.
Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
