Man Attacked With Beer Bottle

Windsor police say a man has been released from hospital after being attacked in downtown Windsor

Around 2:30am Saturday, officers responded to the area of Ouellette Ave. and Park St. There they found a man who had a cut to his neck.

Police believe the cut was the result of being hit with a beer bottle.

The victim was taken to hospital, where he was treated for his injuries and later released.

The investigation is ongoing.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
