UPDATE: Boy Hit By Car In West Windsor

A 10-year-old boy riding his bike suffered a broken leg after being hit by a pick-up truck Monday.

Windsor police say it happened at around 4:45pm at the intersection of Mill St. and Sandwich St. where traffic was backed up.

The boy was taken to hospital.

Officers suspected the 60-year-old driver was impaired so they performed a roadside screening test.

Police say the man did have alcohol in his system, but wasn't over the the legal limit. His license was suspended for three days and his vehicle was towed.

The driver hasn't been charged in relation to the crash as police continue to investigate.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
