Delays Expected On Leamington's Sherk St.

"The surface on this road; it is quickly deteriorating," says Mayor John Paterson about upcoming construction on Sherk St., a major artery in Leamington.

The road will be torn up between Oak St. and Seacliff Dr. W for milling and paving work. New curbs are going in too.

It'll remain open during construction, but motorists should expect delays.

Paterson says the town wants it done by June 24.

"If they can do it in the next week or two weeks, it'll be going," he says. "I believe everything is in place."

Town Council approved a tender from Mill-AM Corporation for $967,880.
