Jailed For A Cause

"What are you doing Wonder Woman?!", cried Country 95.9 FM afternoon host Chris Lukas as she was escorted out of Blackburn Radio Inc. by two costumed characters Thursday afternoon.

Lukas was one of many local celebrities jailed for a variety of so-called crimes for Crime Stoppers Bail or Jail event at Devonshire Mall.

She didn't go quietly.

"Come on, guys! I'm trying to do my job! I'm gonna get fired!", she screamed as other Blackburn Radio employees looked on in amusement.

Lukas was arrested for laughing in the hallways and raised over $700 by the end of the first day of the fundraiser.

Bail or Jail raised over $5,000 Thursday and continues Friday at Devonshire Mall.
