UPDATE: One Killed, Four Injured In Hwy. 3 Crash

One person is dead and another four have been injured in a seven-vehicle crash in Kingsville.

The Ontario Provincial Police say on Friday just before 3pm, police were called to Hwy. 3 between County Rd. 18 and Upcott Side Rd.

One person was pronounced dead at the scene and another was taken to hospital with life threatening injuries. Three other people were also hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.

The identity of the person killed in the crash is being withheld until the next of kin is notified. Police are not releasing any further information about the crash at this time.

Hwy. 3 was closed for several hours between County Rd. 18 and Upcott Side Rd. while officers conducted an investigation. The roadway has since been fully reopened.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
