Truck Hauling Watermelons Flips

The Ontario Provincial Police say nobody was hurt, but charges are pending after a tractor-trailer hauling a load of watermelons flipped into a ditch.

That was around 6:15pm Monday on the eastbound ramp from County Rd. 42 to Hwy. 401 in Lakeshore.

The crash closed the on ramp for several hours for cleanup.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
