Multiple Sexual Assaults On City's East End

Windsor police are investigating multiple sexual assaults on the city's east side that appear to be linked to the same suspect.

On March 9 around 2:45pm, an 18-year-old female was approached from behind and touched inappropriately in the area of Little River Acres Dr. and Riverdale Ave. The suspect circled her and grabbed her again, but she screamed and the suspect left the scene.

On May 3 at 5:30am, a 60-year-old woman was in the area of Essex Way and Lauzon Pkwy. when an unknown male inappropriately touched her from behind and lifted up her shirt. The suspect walked away when he was confronted.

Finally, on May 22, 2016 at around 7:30pm, a 15-year-old female was walking in the area of McHugh and Lauzon Rd. when a male approached her from behind and began grabbing her and touching her inappropriately. The victim broke free and ran away.

The suspect in all three incidents is described as a black male, around 15-20 years old, 5'5", skinny build with dark brown eyes and short hair.

Windsor police are reminding members of the public to use extra caution and always be aware of your surroundings.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
