FCA Reaches All-Time Sales Record

Fiat Chrysler Automobiles Canada is reporting the best monthly sales in the company's history.

In May, the company sold 31,724 vehicles across the country, an increase of 0.3% over May sales in 2015.

The automaker continues to be the number one-selling automaker in Canada with 124,663 vehicles sold to date this year.

“May was a phenomenal month for FCA Canada as we set an all-time sales record,” says Dave Buckingham, chief operating officer, FCA Canada. “Our Canadian-built Dodge Grand Caravan and Dodge Challenger each set sales records, while our Jeep products continue to resonate strongly with customers helping us to achieve an all-time record sales month for the brand.”

There were 6,169 caravans sold in May 2016 up from 3,285 in May of 2015.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
