Windsor Team Makes Amazing Race

Windsorites have a local team to cheer for on the upcoming season of the Amazing Race Canada.

According to the show's web page, Anthony and Brandon, two servers from Windsor who are best friends and have "a passion for music, working out, and family," will compete for $500,000 in cash and prizes.

The duo are using their time on the Amazing Race to raise money for a co-worker to buy a specialized van for her niece Zoey, who suffers from several chronic illnesses.

If they win, Anthony says it'll also make it easier for him to follow his career dream of becoming a travel nurse. Brandon wants to work in the resort industry in Australia.

The fourth season of the Amazing Race Canada kicks off June 28.
