UPDATE: Crash Sends 2-Year-Old To Hospital (GALLERY)

Both drivers in a two-vehicle crash in Windsor that sent a two-year-old child to hospital are being charged.

The crash happened Friday at around 7:15am at the intersection of Giles Blvd. E and Howard Ave.

Police say the child's injuries appear to be non-life threatening and describe them as an apparent "bump on the head." A children's hat could be seen on the sidewalk next to one of the vehicle's front tires.

A portion of the intersection was closed for a few hours, but Windsor police say it has since reopened.

Hydro crews were also called in to repair the damaged pole.

One driver is charged with making an unsafe turn while the other driver is charged with a red light infraction.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
