Thief Smashes Glass, Shoves Victim For Purse Money

Windsor police are looking for a man who they say forced his way into a business on Tecumseh Rd. E. at Alexis Rd., around 2am.

A woman finishing up work at the store, says she heard a bang at the front door and when she went to see what it was, glass was shattered and a man was crawling through the bottom of the broken door.

The suspect got to his feet, pushed her to the ground, took cash from her purse along with some store property and left.

The victim injured her hand on some broken glass.

The suspect is described as a white man, standing 5' 8'', medium build with strawberry-blonde hair, and was wearing all black at the time of the robbery.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
