Cash Register Thieves Hit Windsor

Police forces across Ontario and New Brunswick are looking for a man and woman, who are suspected of robbing numerous businesses, including two in Windsor.

According to Barrie police, the man quickly manipulates the locking mechanism of cash registers and removes the money while his female counterpart stands by, obstructing his view from employees.

Officials say the two began this elaborate scheme at the beginning of May and are responsible for similar thefts at Home Depot, Ardene, and Bass Pro Shops.

Anyone with information about this couple are asked to call Windsor police or Crime Stoppers.
