Man Steals Gas In Vehicle With Stolen Plates

Windsor police are searching for a man who didn't pay for his gas that he pumped into a car with stolen license plates.

Officers were called to the Pioneer gas station in the 3400-block of Walker Rd. back on June 13 just after noon.

Police say the suspect put $50 worth of gas in the vehicle and sped off without paying.

During the investigation police say they realized more than just the gas was stolen, so was the vehicle's plates.

Anyone with information is asked to call police or Crime Stoppers.
