LaSalle Dealership Suffers Rampage

LaSalle police report a "rampage" over the Canada Day weekend has left over 15 vehicles at a dealership in the town damaged.

Police say at about 5:30am on July 3, an unknown person came to Reaume Motors in LaSalle and damaged both new and used vehicles. Some vehicles had smashed windshields and windows while others had deep gouges on the sides of the cars and trucks — even owner's manuals were ripped.

Damage is estimated at "well over $5,000" according to police.

The investigation is ongoing and security camera footage is being reviewed.

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
