Don't Forget, Bluesfest Starts Today

Starting at 3pm today, four days of blues-rock, roots, reggae, soul and more kick off at Windsor's Riverfront Festival Plaza.

The Bluesfest venue has been extended this year to include a second stage, a 6,000 sq ft covered lounge, and a hospitality centre.

Six local eateries are taking part including South Detroit and the Caboto Club.

Huttch kicks the event off right at 3pm. Also on tonight: Jody Raffoul, Howling Diablos and I Mother Earth with Edwin. Big Sugar headlines the evening when they hit the stage at 9:40pm.

The headline entertainer Saturday night is Florida resonator guitar specialist Eric Sardinas.

Bluesfest wraps up Sunday evening.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
