All Stolen Canadian Tire Guns Recovered

All of the long guns have now been recovered that were stolen during the Canadian Tire break-in a month ago.

Windsor police also arrested a man in connection to the stolen firearm following a raid Thursday afternoon. The Walker Rd. Canadian Tire was broken into June 15.

The Drugs and Guns Unit was actively investigating reports of a man in possession of a long gun without a license.

A search warrant was executed at a home in the 5400-block of Reginald St.

Officers found a rifle, airsoft rifle and replica handgun inside the house.

While officers were still at the scene the suspect came home and was placed under arrest.

A 47-year-old Windsor man is charged with possession of a firearm without a license and possession of a stolen firearm.
