Motorcyclist Seriously Injured In Crash

Windsor police have closed a section of Tecumseh Rd. E after a serious motorcycle crash sent one person to hospital.

The Windsor Police Service says on Friday around 9pm, officers responded to the westbound lanes of Tecumseh Rd. E near Lauzon Pkwy., after the motorcycle collided with another vehicle.

Police say the adult male motorcyclist has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, and is currently listed in critical condition.

The westbound lanes of Tecumseh Rd. E are closed between Rose-Ville Garden Dr. and Lauzon Pkwy. while investigators are at the scene. The eastbound lanes remain open. Police say the road will be closed for several hours.

This is the second serious motorcycle crash to happen in Windsor in the same day. The first crash occurred on Ojibway Pkwy. Friday morning.

Two men arrested in Tashmoo Ave. standoff

Sarnia police said the investigation began on May 29 after the victim was allegedly attacked by acquaintances at a residence near Tashmoo Avenue and Christopher Drive at Aamjiwnaang First Nation.
